October Update

We would like to thank the parents, students, and companies whose contributions make our club possible. We appreciate all the support of food, time, tools, money, and supplies that have already been donated.

This year we have sent out 60 sponsorship letters, applied for 10 grants, hosted a disc golf tournament, and been at several first Fridays. We have raised $3,500 on our goal of $12,000 to build a competition ready robot. We have 1 month to reach a fundrasiing milestone of $5,000 to enter the competition. Here is our upcoming schedule:

Octo - Update

· Saturday, October 15th

Saturday Market on Park Avenue, We will be doing demonstrations and telling the community of our team goals. We hope to see all the parents out; students please sign up to bring supplies.

· Thursday, October 27th 5:30-7:00pm

OPEN HOUSE! We will be holding a dinner and informational about our team, scholarships, and what to expect during build season. This will be at SAIL starting in the Cafeteria at 5:30 for dinner.

· Thursday, November 3rd

OUR $5,000.00 FEE IS DUE FOR THE FIRST COMPETITION

· Saturday, November 19th 8:00-10:00am

Pancake Breakfast at Applebee’s on Appalachee parkway.

Breakfast is $5 pre-registration $6 at the door for a pancake, sausage, fruit, and egg breakfast.

Food and Finance

We meet every Thursday and usually stay till 5:30 or later. We would greatly appreciate Parents signing up to bring in a light meal. For additional information please contact us. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
